pad, 1 1/2" - 2 1/2"drop. Highly figured walnut stock with long tang pistol |
grip and schnabel forend. Both stock and (blued) receiver gracefully inlaid |
with sweeping brass linework (scalloped through the grip) portraying a total |
of six impala. Weight: 7lbs, 6oz. Built 1986. 99%+blue. Note the similarly- |
carved stock of the gun displayed by Browning at the Liege Exposition in |
1939, Schwing, page 61--although without the inlays. $7950. |
