Winchester pre-'64 Model 70 action with sculptured and blind-screwed rear tang, jeweled bolt and follower, 3-panel checkered bolt knob, built-up and checkered bolt stop and Blackburn custom magnum drop-box bottom metal with hinged straddle floorplate and button release inside trigger guard bow. Borders of bottom metal and steel grip cap scroll engraved by Guiseppe Forte. Highly figured, darkly marbled, lustrously finished Turkish walnut stock by Joe Smithson with widow's-peaked ebony forend tip, wrap-around point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, engraved double recoil crossbolts, beaded cheekpiece, inletted and pedestalled swivel base and gold oval.
