After discussion, the motion was made, seconded and a vote was taken in favor of holding the Fall Conference at the Choteau Antique Tractor Show

Future Conferences

Martin Hildreth:  Yellowstone / Mammoth Blacksmith Shop – This would be a possibilityas a "shoulder event" in the Spring or Fall - perhaps for Fall of 2014?

Hial Steele is willing to host in 18 months time.

Frank and Annette are willing to host in Roscoe at the Community Center. The idea of a demonstration/hands-on event with a bladesmith was suggested.

Kalispell also has a tractor show on the 2nd weekend of September and has expressed interest in having NRBA join in.

Newsletter

Ben asked members whether they have utilized the newletter access from the website. Only a few members have done so.

It is becoming more difficult to get hard copies of articles for the newsletter, as most are now on-line. Other blacksmith organizations have newletters with information, but won't give permission to reprint without paying memberships. Ben wonders if it would be worth it for the newsletter to continue to have new articles for the newsletter.

Adelmann Scholarship

The scholarship information is on the website. Marilyn will put a notice in the newletter for those interested to access the information on-line.
