Blacksmithing at the Timberline Lodge:

Katana, having been forged from Tamahgane smelted from iron sand that morning, just quenched---which induced the graceful curve.

NRBA's Jeffrey Funk, forging suggestive grape leaves, and then silver-brazing them to a stem.

"Blacksmith Wars" winners Maria Cristali and previous NRBA conference demonstrator, Dave Tuttle.

Each team of four had to present a full-scale drawing together with a bill of materials. And then, in four, three-hour sessions, using nothing but hand tools, make a table to support a provided glass top---and accommodate an unanticipated change-order element into their design.  All four teams finished---all during the last minute available.
