Walther P-38    Zero-Series, Third Issue       9mm      with Holster

 

 

 

 

Inside of grip, numbered to pistol. (Both grips are numbered to the pistol.)

5" barrel. Exposed extractor, round firing pin & chamber-loaded indicator. Early production Walther P38 pistol with high polish blue finish. The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner, "P38" and the serial number "07576." The serial number is present on the left side of the frame, the front of the barrel and the last three digits are stamped on the locking block. The right side of the slide is marked with an "EAGLE/359" acceptance stamp on either side of a "EAGLE/SWASTIKA" proof mark. Nearly every component is marked with the "E/359" acceptance stamp. The left side of the barrel and locking block have "EAGLE/SWASTIKA" proof marks. The magazine is marked "P38" on the lower left side and has the "E/359" stamp on the spine. Black, ribbed, composition grips, numbered to the pistol. Mfd 1939. Fine bore. 98% of the high polish blue finish. Markings are crisp.     With black, cowhide, type I holster marked "P38" in front of the belt loops and marked with the maker's code "EWX" (Franz V. Karl Voegels) above a Waffenamt acceptance stamp. The holster is in excellent condition with markings mostly legible. An excellent example of a very desirable early production Walther P38 with the original holster. $3250.
