23" tapered round barrel with full-band front sight and folding twilight bead,

full-band swivel mount, full-band island base with twin folding leaf sights,

calibre and serial numbers in gold, and double gold bands at breech. Highly

figured dark oil-finished European walnut stock with ebony forend tip,

classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, engraved recoil

crossbolt, engraved trapdoor pistol grip cap, top tang extending over comb,

bottom tang extending to grip cap, beaded pancake cheekpiece, rear swivel

stud, and dark brown Old English recoil pad. Casehardened Mauser action

with solid side rail, bolt stop finger extension, intricately-checkered bolt

knob, original flag safety with S inlaid in gold, Rigby-type retractable bolt

peep sight, Timney trigger, and solid one-piece drop-box magazine with

hinged straddle floorplate and release inside triggerguard. Extensively

engraved with fine English scroll and with a hyena screaming at a leopard

on the floorplate. Pull: 14 1/8". Weight: 9lbs, 4oz. 99%+blue. 98%
