26" tapered round heavy barrel with full-band front sight. Figured European

walnut stock with horn forend tip, adjustable forward sling mount position,

wrap-around point-pattern checkering, steel pistol grip cap, classic comb

with beaded cheekpiece, rear swivel base, and hand-checkered steel

buttplate with widow's peak. Springfield high-number 1903 action with

Lyman 48 receiver sight, jeweled bolt, raceway and magazine follower,

checkered bolt knob, checkered trigger with adjustable stop, checkering on

front of floorplate, and Jantz-type cocking-piece safety. Also with Lyman 48

blanking slide and base. Pull: 13". Weight: 10lbs, 1/2oz. Built 1934. 99%blue.  $6595.
