| 26" SxS barrels of damascus steel with solid flat rib raised and matted at |
| muzzle for fine bead front sight, and matted from breech to 1 standing and 1 |
| folding platinum-lined express sights, the leaf engraved for 200 yards, and |
| with sling eye. Figured European walnut stocks with key-fastened splinter |
| forend with inletted and engraved steel finial, pistol-grip triggerguard |
| extension, classic point-pattern checkering wrapping fully under wrist, sling |
| eye, vacant silver initial oval, and smooth high-polish steel buttplate. |
| Peninsular sidelocks with stalking safeties, double triggers, Jones |
| underlever, and percussion fences. Fine scroll engraved. Pull: 14 3/8". |
| Weight: 9lbs, 1oz. London black powder proved for 39 bore. Built ca 1875. |
| Retaining 95% barrel brown and 90% original casehardening colors. |
| Mechanically excellent. Tight and with crisp mirror-bright bores. In leather |
| trunk case with innumerable loading tools and maker's label. |
