| illuminating mirror. Prominently straight-grained European walnut stock with |
| sling swivels, classic point-pattern borderless checkering, steel pistol grip |
| cap, beaded pancake cheekpiece and solid red Old English recoil pad. |
| Metalwork by Lester Womack: Rigby/Mauser pre-war commercial slant-box |
| magnum action with original Mauser safety, hinged straddle floorplate with |
| release inside triggerguard, all matching Mauser numbers with both German |
| commercial and London proofmarks, and Lyman 48 receiver sight. Listed by |
| number in Speed's book: Mauser #14607 as a Rigby stepped-receiver |
| Magnum Squarebridge chambered for .400/350, mfd 1906. Rigby #2977 on |
| triggerguard for 1907. Pull: 14 3/8". Weight: 8lbs, 12 1/2oz. Little used since |
| custom build in 1982. Excellent bore.
