Description: 28" fully Henry-rifled tapered round barrel with solid standing island-mounted express sight and fine bead saddle-mounted front sight. 14 1/2" pull from checkered trigger to red rubber Silvers recoil pad. Figured walnut stock with, double-beaded pancake cheekpiece, keyed Alex Henry forend, flat sidepanels, classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders and horn pistol grip cap. Action patent use number 2114. Fully scroll engraved receiver with right-hand hammer, peninsular sidelock and stalking safety. Weight: 11lbs, 1oz. Max. bore diameter .743".  Retaining 99%blue and 95%casecolors. Original load: Brass case, 7 drams powder.

With its original bullet mold---rejoined after 132 years thanks to the diligent perception of a kindred spirit.
