Alex Henry forend, classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders,

beaded pancake cheekpiece, horn capped pistol grip and vacant gold initial

oval. Fine scroll engraved sidelock action with right hammer and stalking

safety. Weight: 7lbs, 3oz. Completed August 24, 1878. 85%blue, traces action casehardening
