30" SxS chopper-lump barrels with smooth concave rib choked improved

cylinder & improved cylinder. 14 3/4" pull from Boss patent single trigger to

brown pigskin-covered recoil pad. 1 1/2" - 2 1/8" drop. Trace of cast off.

Lightly figured walnut stocks with Anson-release splinter forend, straight

English grip, beaded-edge triggerguard, classic point-pattern checkering,

teardrops, and gold initial oval. Fine rose & scroll engraved, casehardened

action with maker's name in gold, and automatic top tang safety. Weight:

6lbs, 12oz. Built between 1914-1920. One of a set of at least three guns.

Birmingham reproved in 1992 for 2 3/4" cartridges. Tight. Excellent bores. In

later English leather trunk case with heavy canvas overcase, complement of

new accessories, and a vintage maker's label.   $12,450.
