26" SxS barrels of Siemens Martin Martele steel with flat hand-filed rib, square crossbolt and doll's head extension, choked improved cylinder & modified, 14"pull from articulated front trigger to striated horn buttplate, 1 1/2" - 2 1/2"drop. Figured walnut stock with scalloped-horn-capped pistol grip, Anson-release splinter forend, classic point-pattern checkering, teardrops and vacant silver oval. Fully engraved with fine acanthus scroll and with game birds and dogs intertwined on grey-etched receiver and extending 2" onto barrels. Bushed firing pins, Automatic top tang safety with S in gold and gold-washed internals. Weight: 5lbs, 12oz. Belgian built in 1939 (by Newmann?). In virtually new condition with original hanging tag. Cased.
