7 1/2" barrel with early "script" style barrel address. Smooth one-piece

walnut grips. Two-line patent date markings. OWA cartouche on left grip.

Small type US marking. Bullseye ejector rod tab. Ainsworth's "A" stamped

underside barrel, right grip bottom, cylinder, triggerguard and top of

backstrap. All matching numbers on barrel, cylinder, frame, triggerguard and

buttstrap. P underside barrel and on cylinder. C inside hammer slot. C and G

on barrel under ejector rod housing. Manufactured in 1874. Traces original

case colors on hammer and frame. Traces original blue on underside of grip

and underside of barrel. Hammer makes four succinct clicks as it is pulled

back. Both half-cock and full cock hold firmly. Cylinder locks up tightly.

Virtually excellent bore.  $11,750.
