grips. Two-line patent date markings. OWA cartouche on left grip.

type US marking. Bullseye ejector rod tab. Ainsworth's "A" stamped
|
|
underside barrel, right grip bottom, cylinder, triggerguard and top of
|
|
backstrap. All matching numbers on barrel, cylinder, frame, triggerguard and
|
|
buttstrap. P underside barrel and on cylinder. C inside hammer slot. C and G |
|
on
barrel under ejector rod housing. Manufactured in 1874. Traces original
|
|
case
colors on hammer and frame. Traces original blue on underside of grip
|
|
and
underside of barrel. Hammer makes four succinct clicks as it is pulled
|
|
back.
Both half-cock and full cock hold firmly. Cylinder locks up tightly.
