Custom Remington Model 32 Four-Barrel Skeet Set 12ga, 20ga, 28ga, 2 3/4" and .410, 2 1/2" Engraved and Gold Inlaid by Josef Fugger

Four sets, 26" O/U barrels, inlaid 1, 2, 3 & 4 in gold at breech ends of their

matted ventilated ribs and each with twin ivory beads, all choked skeet. 13

3/4"pull from checkered, gold-plated single selective trigger to black

Decelerator recoil pad. 1 3/8" - 2" drop. No cast. Custom stocks of highly

figured European walnut by Bill McGuire with Deeley-release beavertail

forend, vacant gold-escutcheoned ebony pistol grip cap, artfully-bordered

checkering and with checkered sidepanels. 12ga vent-rib barrels by

Remington; subgauge barrels by Simmons and each with breechblocks

machined to equalize weights of each set to within 2 ounces---and all breech

ends engine-turned. Top tang safety locked out. Extensively engraved by

Josef Fugger with game scenes of two dogs flushing six grouse on left and

another two flushing three pheasant on right--all in raised carved gold---

surrounded with forest scenes and oak leaves. Two raised gold pheasant on

underside, a raised gold dog's head on triggerguard, and maker's markings

on underside inlaid in flush gold. Matching 2 1/2" of oakleaf engraving at

both breech and muzzle ends of all barrel sets. Signed Josef Fugger

Engraver on lower front edge of receiver and on each of the barrel sets'

breechblocks. Weight: 7lbs, 15oz. 99% blue. Tight, and with excellent bores.

In Brady leather trunk case with Remington label, some cleaning accessories and

leather-trimmed canvas overcase. Probably the finest Model 32 in existence. $16,750.
