24" tapered round barrel with full-band NECG front sight, and Wisner Model

70 Safari adjustable express sight, unmarked but for the calibre, 9.3x62.

Figured walnut stock with ebony forend tip, inletted swivel studs, classic

borderless point pattern checkering, steel pistol grip cap, classic comb,

beaded cheekpiece, and solid black Decelerator recoil pad. FN Mauser

Supreme action with jeweled bolt and follower, Timney trigger,

casehardened Model 70-type safety by Ed Lapour, and detachable

floorplate. Zeiss Diavari 1.5-6x42 MC scope with 30mm tube and fine duplex

reticle on Talley fixed mounts. Pull: 13 7/8". Weight: 9lbs, 8 1/2oz. Very little

used. In Dave Norin's words: "I gave it a good try, but could not come up

with an invoice for it. I did quite a bit of work for Dick [the owner] over the

years...I have no doubt it is my work, everything is in my style." Includes a

Redding loading die set, 90 Lapua unprimed cases, 25 Swift A-Frame bullets,

and 50 Barnes triple shock bullets. Proceeds from the sale of this rifle are

being donated to the Chiredzi River African Wildlife Trust to fund care for

the wildlife in the Chiredzi River Conservancy in southeast Zimbabwe,

primarily through anti-poaching patrols and encouraging conservation in

the local schools. $4495.
