Griffin & Howe Custom Kurz Mauser Squarebridge .250-3000 Engraved by Rudolph Kornbrath
Description: 23" barrel of Boehler Antinit steel with full integral rib & 2 folding leaf sights. Figured walnut stock by R G Owen with horn forend tip, double-beaded cheekpiece, wrap-around ribbon checkering and deep-chisel-engraved trapdoor steel buttplate. Mauser Kurz Squarebridge action mfd 1930 with hinged floorplate and Lyman 48 receiver sight. 14"pull. 6lbs 14oz. Deep carved engraving by Rudolph Kornbrath: Moose on front receiver ring, fighting bull elks on floorplate with does watching from magazine plate and trigger guard. Remainder of action, bolt handle, PG cap and trapdoor buttplate covered with deep chiseled intertwined rose, holly and thistle design. Built in 1931.
