Description: 23 1/2" tapered round barrel with full-band front sight with fine bead and folding twilight bead, full-band swivel base, quarter rib with 1 standing and 2 folding gold-lined express sights with gold-inlaid markings for 100, 160 and 200 yards. Highly-figured, lustrously-finished walnut stock with ebony forend tip, wrap-around point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, Hartmann & Weiss proprietary takedown mechanism, recoil crossbolt, steel pistol grip cap, beaded pancake cheekpiece, rear swivel and checkered butt. 143/8"pull. Hartmann & Weiss, bench-made, color casehardened, Kurz Mauser, double-squarebridge action with Model 70-type safety, checkered trigger, fire-blued extractor and hinged floorplate with release inside triggerguard. Zeiss Diavari 1.5-6x42 T* scope with bold duplex reticle on Riechnagel quick-detachable mounts fitted directly to receiver squarebridges without separate bases. Extensively engraved by Hans Eisbacher: gold griffins on receiver bridges and siderail, platinum griffin on floorplate, gold griffin on triggerguard, gold horned grotesque on floorplate hinge, greenman on cocking piece, three-dimensional gold-backgrounded roccoco acanthus scroll covering bolt knob---all surrounded with deep-cut acanthus scroll and extensive gold-inlaid linework on receiver, bottom metal, scope mounts sights and grip cap; signed behind rear action screw. Weight: 7lbs, 5oz without scope; 8lbs, 10oz with. Built in 2010. New and unfired except by the maker and proof house. Cased in the maker's dark brown pigskin takedown trunk case with deep blue baize lining, leather trade label, turnscrew, cleaning kit and oil bottle and with heavy, leather-bound, linen overcase.
