22" tapered round barrel with Burgess retractable front sight. Highly figured

European walnut stock by Jerry Fisher with widow's-peaked ebony forend

tip, inletted swivel bases---pedestalled at rear, classic wrap-around point-

pattern checkering with mullered borders, steel capped pistol grip, classic

comb, vacant gold oval, and skeleton buttplate---checkered within.

Metalwork by Tom Burgess with CZ-Brno Mauser dovetailed double-

squarebridge action with jeweled bolt and follower, 5-panel checkered bolt

knob, folding peep sight built into rear receiver bridge, sliding top tang

safety, Canjar trigger, FN Mauser cocking piece, Oberndorf Mauser bolt

stop, and hinged straddle floorplate with release inside triggerguard.

Extensively scroll engraved by John Warren with arabesque scroll on

action, bolt handle, cocking piece, bottom metal, grip cap, swivel bases,

scope rings, buttplate, and with raised gold running buck on floorplate.

Signed on the exterior by all three craftsmen and with Jerry Fisher's stamp

inside barrel channel, Burgess' marking under chamber (11/80 and 10T), and

John Warren's inside floorplate. Leupold Vari-X III 2.5-8x scope with 4A

duplex reticle on Burgess quick-detachable mounts fitting directly to

receiver dovetails without separate bases. Pull: 13 3/4". Weight: 8lbs, 7

1/4oz, with scope. Built 1980. New condition.
