23" SxS chopper-lump barrels of Boehler Spezial steel with full raised solid matted rib, 1 standing and 1 folding leaf sight regulated for 100 and 200 yards, engraved at the muzzles. 14 3/8" pull. Twin, single-set triggers. Fully figured black-streaked, oil-finished walnut stock with classic mullered-border point-pattern checkering, beaded pancake cheekpiece, striated horn buttplate, smooth horn pistol-grip cap, Anson-pushbutton-release splinter forend and no swivels. Fine rose & scroll engraving on casehardened receiver with bushed firing pins, double underbites, Holland&Holland-type concealed third fastener and [automatic] SAFE in gold. Zeiss Zielvier scope with duplex reticle numbered to the rifle, on soldered, custom made, Vienna tunnel claw mounts. Weight: 8lbs, 6oz with scope. Built in the English style in 1935 for a Mr Pearson, with superb quality and in immaculate condition retaining 99% barrel blue, 98% casehardening colors and 99%blue on the extended tang triggerguard. Tight. Excellent bores. In original oak & leather case with brass corners and maker's oil bottle.
