Description: 6.5x57, Rimmed or rimless. 24 1/2" tapered octagon-to-round barrel with full integral matted rib, front sight ramp and raised quarter rib with 2 gold-lined folding express sights regulated for 100 and 200 yards and double gold rings at breech. Exhibition walnut with beaded pancake cheekpiece, ebony forend tip, teardrops, classic point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, engraved trapdoor pistol grip cap, vacant gold oval, casehardened European swivels and thin leather-covered pad. Kahles Helia-Super 4x scope with bold pointed-post and crossbars reticle on quick-detachable claw mounts with half-rings soldered to the scope and all blued to match. Full coverage, scroll engraving on casehardened Hagn action by Frank Hendricks and with yellow-gold borderline work and extensive raised rose-gold rose & scroll inlay. Roller tang safety with "S" in gold. Pull: 13 3/4". Weight: 7lbs, 6oz. Nearly new condition. In Huey oak & leather case with engraved accessories and canvas overcase.

Provenance: Purchased by Hallowell & Co. in February 1997 from the original owner who had commissioned it from the individual craftsmen.
