25 1/2" SxS barrels with quarter rib, 1 standing & 1 folding express sight, 14 1/4"pull, 2"drop. Figured walnut stock with beaded pancake cheekpiece, teardrops, gold oval, classic point-pattern checkering, full pistol grip with trapdoor cap and Anson-release beavertail forend. Reinforced action with concealed third fastener, sideclips, bolted safety and top tang extended over comb. Fine Scroll engraved with eagles on each lockplate and with a trumpeting elephant inlaid in gold on trigger guard. Weight: 10lbs 7oz. Built 1953. Retaining 100% blue and 98% case colors. In maker's oak and leather case with accessories.
