Swiss Buttplate
Swiss Buttplate - A prominent buttplate, usually cast of brass and then plated, with prongs at heel and toe to help stabilize the butt of a rifle on one's shoulder. Often fitted to Scheutzen target rifles. And, also known as a Scheutzen buttplate.
