  Spring-loaded, push-button, forend crosspin fastener.

Description: 27" SxS damascus Henry-rifled barrels with flat hand-filed rib, 1 standing & 2 folding platinum-lined express sights engraved for 150, 250 and 350 yards, respectively. 14 3/8"pull from front trigger to checkered steel buttplate. Figured walnut stock with double-beaded pancake cheekpiece, horn-capped pistol grip, splinter forend with spring-loaded pushbutton crosspin fastener and vacant silver oval. Fine scroll engraved receiver with peninsula sidelocks, Jones underlever, non-rebounding hammers and stalking safeties. Henry's barrel patent nos 1596 & 1597. London proofed 40-bore. Built ca 1875. Retaining 90% barrel brown and 80% casehardening colors. Excellent bores. In maker's oak & leather case with accessories and heavy leather-bound canvas overcase.
