Straight grain walnut stock with trap for four cartridges, pancake cheekpiece, forend crosspin fastener, horn forend tip, forend finger groove and skipline checkering. 14 1/2"pull from checkered trigger to solid brown pad. Mauser magnum action with hinged straddle floorplate, Casehardened cocking piece, Buehler safety and 2-panel checkered bolt knob. Crown/BUG commercial proofs. Kahles Helia-Super 2.3-7x scope adjustable for windage and elevation, with duplex reticle, on quick-detachable claw mounts with soldered rings and extra windage adjustment in rear ring. Hinged floorplate engraved after a Frederic Remington scene: a man fighting a bear with a knife after he broke his rifle; his friend trying to get close enough to shoot the bear while another bear approaches.
