acceptance stamp followed by the "Eagle/Swastika L" police acceptance

stamp. Army "E/135" stamp is located on side of frame beside serial

number, right side of the locking block and left side of barrel. Left side of

barrel and locking block are stamped with "Eagle/N" commercial test proof

marks. Two magazines, both blued and marked "P.38V" above the floor

plate on the left side. Full serial number on barrel, slide and frame.

Locking block numbered "126". All matching numbers. Military blue finish.

5" barrel. Exposed extractor, round firing pin & chamber-loaded indicator.

Early production Walther P38 pistol with high polish blue finish. The left

side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner, "P38" and the serial

number "07576." The serial number is present on the left side of the frame,

the front of the barrel and the last three digits are stamped on the locking

block. The right side of the slide is marked with an "EAGLE/359"

acceptance stamp on either side of a "EAGLE/SWASTIKA" proof mark.

Nearly every component is marked with the "E/359" acceptance stamp.

The left side of the barrel and locking block have "EAGLE/SWASTIKA"

proof marks. The magazine is marked "P38" on the lower left side and has

the "E/359" stamp on the spine. Black, ribbed, composition grips,

numbered to the pistol. Fine bore. With black, cowhide, type I holster

marked "P38" in front of the belt loops and marked with the maker's code

"EWX" (Franz V. Karl Voegels) above a Waffenamt acceptance stamp.

Mfd 1939. 97-98% of the high polish blue finish. The right side of the slide

and the grip strap show some minor handling wear. Markings are crisp.

The holster is in excellent condition with markings mostly legible. Photo
