"07576." The serial number is present on the left side of the frame, |

front of the barrel and the last three digits are stamped on the locking
|
|
block.
The right side of the slide is marked with an "EAGLE/359" |
|
acceptance stamp on either side of a "EAGLE/SWASTIKA" proof mark.

Nearly
every component is marked with the "E/359" acceptance stamp. |

The left
side of the barrel and locking block have "EAGLE/SWASTIKA" |
|
proof
marks. The magazine is marked "P38" on the lower left side and has |
|
the
"E/359" stamp on the spine. Black, ribbed, composition grips, |
|
numbered
to the pistol. Fine bore. With black, cowhide, type I holster |
|
marked
"P38" in front of the belt loops and marked with the maker's code
|
|
"EWX"
(Franz V. Karl Voegels) above a Waffenamt acceptance stamp. |

1939. 97-98% of the high polish blue finish. The right side of the slide

|
and the
grip strap show some minor handling wear. Markings are crisp. |

The
holster is in excellent condition with markings mostly legible.
