Highly-figured, lustrously-finished walnut stock with ebony forend tip, wrap-around point-pattern checkering with mullered borders, Hartmann & Weiss proprietary takedown mechanism, recoil crossbolt, steel pistol grip cap, beaded pancake cheekpiece, rear swivel and checkered butt. 143/8"pull. Hartmann & Weiss, bench-made, color casehardened, Kurz Mauser, double-squarebridge action with Model 70-type safety, checkered trigger, fire-blued extractor and hinged floorplate with release inside triggerguard. Zeiss Diavari 1.5-6x42 T* scope with bold duplex reticle on Riechnagel quick-detachable mounts fitted directly to receiver squarebridges without separate bases. Extensively engraved by Hans Eisbacher: gold griffins on receiver bridges and siderail, platinum griffin on floorplate, gold griffin on triggerguard, gold horned grotesque on floorplate hinge, greenman on cocking piece, three-dimensional gold-backgrounded roccoco acanthus scroll covering bolt knob---all surrounded with deep-cut acanthus scroll and extensive gold-inlaid linework on receiver, bottom metal, scope mounts sights and grip cap; signed behind rear action screw.
