24 1/4" SxS damascus barrels with doll's head extension, flat file-cut rib, 1 standing and 2 folding platinum-lined express sights engraved for 50, 100 & 150 yards. 14 1/2"pull from front trigger to sound, older replacement solid red rubber pad. Figured walnut stock with double-beaded pancake cheekpiece, point-pattern checkering, long bottom tang, horn pistol grip cap and lever-release splinter forend. Non-rebounding hammers on sidelock action with half-cock stalking safeties, percussion fences and Jones underlever. Half coverage fine scroll engraving, with maker's name in gold on lockplates and royal warrants in gold on barrels. Weight: 21 lbs. Built ca 1885. Number 2 of a pair. London proofed. Crisp, mirror-bright bores with a very few light scattered pi ts. Retaining 97% old barrel rebrown and 50% original casehardening colors. Sound throughout. With oak & elephant hide case. Innumerable vintage-style, functional loading tools by John Miller. Load 75gr BlueDot & 1700gr conical lead bullet @ 1200fps.
