Teardrops


Teardrops - Small, raised-carved details on either side of the stock of a double gun, behind the lockplates of a sidelock or behind the flat sidepanels of a boxlock, in the shape of a falling drop of water or a teardrop. Also called dropper points. A traditional detail found on finer guns.
