 Fireplace Door Sets

 

Built-in fireplace door set 54" wide by 48" high. Glazed with Corning PyroceramŪ clear ceramic. Upper lever locks right door simultaneously at both top and bottom, capturing left door by its hidden astragal. Lower right lever adjusts air vent louvres.

 

Built-in fireplace door set 59" wide by 39" high with arched frame and arched doors. Fitted with heavy screen, 6 wires to the inch. Lifting right handle upwards releases concealed latch to open both doors. Hand forged hinges, handles and rivets.

 

Another Fireplace Door Set. 49 inches high by 54 inches wide. Fitted with screen. Secured with lateral concrete anchors (one just visible beside the lower right hinge) but prior to mortaring in place.

 

Built-in fireplace doors fitted with wire mesh screen. Hand forged hinges, handles and latch.  Log Grate inside firebox. Firedoor set mortared into place.

 

Built-in Fireplace Door Set. 49 inches high by 54 inches wide. Fitted with screen. Child-resistant latch must be slid sideways before lifting. Outer frames and doors, each forged from 2 1/2" wide by 1/2" thick flat iron bar, overlapping at corners.

 

 

 

To fulfill your concept, made especially for you, takes time. If you are considering some custom hardware for a project you are undertaking, please consider ordering it in parallel with your project rather than waiting until you are ready to install. If you can order it enough in advance, it will be far more likely that it will be ready for you when you are ready for it.
